Moving together

A journey of movement, dance and authentic encounters on the art of belonging.

How to step out of loneliness and into aloneness — and what is the difference between the two? How do I stay true to myself and yet communicate well with others? Is it a skill that can be developed and nourished?

We believe it is.

By diving in and teaching our system a different language of communication — rather than the one we were taught in our primal years. It is now known for certain: skills learned directly through the body take deep root.

about the dance-lab

We live in a world more connected than ever — able to speak with someone in the most remote corner of the planet — and yet many of us long for a real, deep, authentic human connection. Somewhere we can be seen and loved for who we are.

A sense of belonging is a primal condition for well-being. A place where we can relax, be ourselves, and meet others beyond roles, expectations and performance. It was our natural territory in ancient times. We have drifted far. It has become essential to find it again.

Gathering by the fire

what is the workshop about

It begins with the relationship we have with ourselves and expands into the relationships we create with others.

Through somatic movement, guided exercises, authentic encounters, sharing and dance, we create a space where each person can reconnect with their own inner ground while becoming part of a living circle of community.

Meeting ourselves through somatic awareness · exploring authentic connection through partner and group exercises · moving from I to We.

We conclude with a free ecstatic dance journey — where learning meets fun and pleasure.

Mali and Sathiam

As partners in life and parents of two sons, we continue to explore the balance between individuality and belonging, between the masculine and the feminine — a journey that inspires this workshop. We live in a community-oriented village in Israel, each in our own home, choosing how and when to meet. There is always the dance of alone and together.

Switzerland has been, and continues to be, a meaningful bridge throughout our lives. It is where we first met, and a place we keep returning to, again and again, through different chapters of our journey.

We would love to share this path with you by dancing our feelings and reconnecting with the body's authentic wisdom, its innate intelligence, and the quiet magic that comes alive when we truly listen.

what we will explore

  • friendship with ourselves — body and mind
  • the difference between loneliness & aloneness
  • listening to the wisdom of the body
